Flexible Moving Shading System

The PVC/ PES mesh facade serves as shading for the office building. The east and west facades are covered on two levels with panels of varying sizes, and connected to the window fronts using a specially designed clamping system.

By mechanical rotation of the facade elements, and through the translucence and reflection properties of the membrane material, a good lighting ambience from both inside and outside of the building is achieved. The special surface properties of the mesh material ensure that the need to clean the facade is significantly reduced.

Another application where Hightex’s position as a world leader in creating tensile structures and fabric architecture in tensioned membranes such as PTFE, PVC, and ETFE is realised.
