USA Born 1941 Charles DesForges is an experienced industrial manager having held senior management / board positions in several multi-national companies.

He has extensive experience of the creation and management of technology-dependent businesses which exploit IP through nine years as a director at 3i plc.

In recent years he has been Chairman / Director of several SMEs operating within the EU and CEO of a multi-national metal mining consortium based in Paris.

He has a 1st class honours degree in applied science and a Ph.D from Cambridge University. He is past vice-president of the UK Institute of Materials and past President of TII, Luxembourg, Europe’s leading professional technology transfer organisation.
